Volkswagen buses, campervans, transporters, food trucks, hippie vans, off-road rigs – every kind of bus/van conversion is welcome. The event (presented by Büssli-Shop) features on-site promotions and is a hub for vanlife adventurers to swap stories on camper builds, travel routes, and customization tips. A true kickoff to the outdoor season for the van community.
Flea Market at Ace (Switzerland)
An early-morning automotive flea market at Ace Cafe Luzern. “Relics from times past” will be up for grabs – from vintage car parts and memorabilia to old gear and collectibles. Stall setup and space assignment begins at 7:00 am, and from 08:00 onward the public can browse the open-air bazaar. It’s a chance for enthusiasts to clear out their garage, hunt for rare finds, and haggle over parts in a lively swap-meet atmosphere.
Defender Meet (Switzerland)
A gathering celebrating “die britische Ikone,” the Land Rover Defender. Few off-road vehicles carry as much history: the Defender has been a cult 4x4 since 1948. Enthusiasts will showcase Defenders of all ages and configurations – from original spec classics to lifted off-road monsters, pickups converted to campers, hardworking farm Defenders, and even the newest generation with options like a 5.0L supercharged V8. All Defenders are welcome. The meet is presented by the Land Rover experts at Garage Epper Luzern, and celebrates the go-anywhere spirit and heritage of this legendary SUV.
American Car Meet (Switzerland)
An all-American car meetup marking the start of the season. With spring in the air, owners are eager to bring out their American machines. Classic muscle cars, hot rods, impressive pickups, vintage cruisers, and even modern American models from Dodge, Ford, Pontiac, Plymouth, Cadillac or Chevrolet – “alle Amis willkommen” (all American cars welcome). This event is a celebration of U.S. automotive freedom: the rumble of V8s, shiny chrome, and a mix of cars spanning decades of American motoring. It’s a chance to see everything from restored ’60s muscle to the latest Detroit iron, all in one place.
Powerhouse Meet (Switzerland)
Powerhouse” Meet – Cars over 400 HP (Mar 15, 2025) – A themed meet for high-horsepower cars. The motto is “Schnell, schneller, am schnellsten” – fast, faster, fastest. Only vehicles boasting 400+ PS (horsepower) under the hood are invited. This means a parking lot full of serious performance machines: heavily tuned street cars, supercars, track-oriented builds – anything with big power. It’s an event to celebrate extreme automotive performance in a friendly setting, where owners can compare dyno numbers and engineering feats. From loud exhausts to jaw-dropping accelerations, this meet is all about showcasing cars with serious horsepower.

It’s a gathering that honors the unique place Volvo occupies in car culture, uniting fans of the brand’s reliable and distinctive vehicles.
Fire Truck Meet (Switzerland)
Fire Truck Meet (Mar 22, 2025) – A unique meetup for fire engines and firefighting vehicles. Big, red, and loud – this event brings these siren-blaring machines to the Ace Cafe grounds. Both classic vintage fire trucks and modern fire-fighting apparatus will be on display. Attendees can get up close to see the equipment and learn the history of these emergency vehicles. It’s not often you see fire trucks outside of emergencies, so families and enthusiasts will enjoy exploring them in a relaxed environment, celebrating the heritage and heroism associated with fire brigades.
Vintage & Classic Car Meet (Switzerland)
Vintage & Classic Car Meet (Mar 23, 2025) – Another edition of the monthly classic-car meet, welcoming Oldtimer up to model year 1995. Proud owners line up their vintage vehicles, turning Ace Cafe’s lot into a retro showcase. “Oldtimer Meet bei uns” – oldtimers meet with us – is the motto. This Sunday, expect a rolling museum of automotive history: elegant pre-war cars, mid-century classics, and youngtimers from the ‘80s and ‘90s. It’s all about sharing the passion for preservation and allowing the public to experience automotive time capsules firsthand.
Ford Meet (Switzerland)
Ford Meet (Mar 29, 2025) – A brand-specific meet for Ford enthusiasts, presented by Centralgarage Sursee. This gathering welcomes Ford vehicles of all types and eras. You might see American muscle like Mustangs and Thunderbirds alongside European Fords like Escorts or Capris. With a local Ford dealer as partner, the event underlines Ford’s broad appeal. It’s a chance for the Blue Oval community to unite – sharing everything from stories of classic Ford restorations to appreciation of the latest Ford performance models.
Motorcycle Blessing & Season Opening (Switzerland)
The annual motorcycle blessing and season opener. Two- and three-wheelers of all kinds are welcome to this event. At 10:00 am, the Ace Cafe’s own chaplain will hold a blessing ceremony for riders and their bikes to kick off the new season. Bikers – whether on motorcycles, trikes, or scooters – gather not just for the benediction but also to celebrate the start of spring riding. The atmosphere combines reverence and festivity: a brief service for safety, followed by a day of camaraderie, perhaps a group ride, and enjoying the warm spring weather at the Ace.
Critérium Jurassien 2025 (Switzerland)
The Critérium Jurassien is one of the most important motorsport events in western Switzerland. Held in the Jura region and based in Saignelégier, this rally marks the opening round of the Swiss Rally Championship. Over two days, around 90 teams compete on demanding and scenic special stages through forests, hills, and rural landscapes.
The 2025 edition takes place on April 4 and 5 and includes eight special stages, covering a total competitive distance of around 130 kilometers. Highlights include the long and technical section near Courtemautruy and the fan-favorite Super Stage in Saignelégier, which draws large crowds and creates a thrilling finale.
This rally is known for its challenging terrain, rapidly changing weather conditions, and the warm support of local fans. It's a true test of precision and endurance, offering a spectacular experience for both drivers and spectators.
British Car Meet (Switzerland)
British Car Meet (Apr 5, 2025) – An event exclusively for British automobiles. “Only British cars please.” From classic roadsters and vintage MGs to modern Jaguars, Aston Martins, and Minis – any car hailing from the UK is invited. This meet celebrates the rich legacy of British motoring, known for its elegance and character. It’s a day of Union Jacks and UK marques, where Anglophile enthusiasts admire each other’s Austins, Triumphs, Land Rovers, and more. Tea and conversation about Lucas electrics or Jaguar inline-sixes wouldn’t be out of place as the community revels in British automotive pride.
