The ICE St. Moritz 2026: Day 2 on the Frozen Lake

Today is Day 2 of The ICE St. Moritz, following an opening day that already showed the full scale of this unique event on the frozen lake of St. Moritz. Yesterday offered a remarkable mix of classic elegance and modern performance, with not just a single hypercar appearing on the ice but an entire lineup. Koenigsegg, Bugatti, Maserati, Rimac and Pagani were seen driving across the frozen surface, creating scenes that are rarely possible at any automotive event worldwide. For car enthusiasts, these moments alone made the first day unforgettable.
Beyond the cars, the atmosphere around the lake was shaped by a diverse official programme. The International Concours of Elegance set the tone in the morning, followed by the contemporary cars show and unveilings, highlighting the contrast between historic automotive heritage and cutting-edge design. In the afternoon, the sky displays added another dimension, with the Patrouille Suisse rehearsing its formations above the lake and reinforcing the special character of the event.
Today, Day 2 continues with further on-ice action. The programme includes racing on the frozen lake, additional free laps as part of the Concours activities and another award ceremony, before the event moves towards its conclusion. Together, these elements underline why The ICE St. Moritz is not just a car show, but a carefully curated winter event where automobiles, setting and experience merge into something truly distinctive.
