Lenzerheide Motor Classics 2026: Historic Motorsport in the Swiss Alps

The 13th edition of the Lenzerheide Motor Classics takes place from May 29 to May 31, 2026, transforming the Swiss mountain village once again into one of Europe’s most atmospheric locations for historic motorsport. More than 200 classic racing and sports cars, motorcycles, sidecars and three wheelers are expected on the legendary circuit in the heart of Graubünden.

Unlike many modern racing events, Lenzerheide Motor Classics is not focused on lap times or aggressive competition. The spirit of the event is built around presentation runs, historic machinery and the unique sound and atmosphere of classic motorsport on Europe’s highest circuit. The open paddock and the close proximity between spectators, drivers and vehicles create a particularly authentic experience.

The 2026 program includes multiple race fields featuring GT and touring cars, motorcycles, prototypes, formula cars and the famous “Kampf der Zwerge” category. Demonstration runs are scheduled throughout Saturday and Sunday with action starting early in the morning and continuing into the late afternoon.

Friday evening traditionally includes a vehicle presentation and parade through Lenzerheide, while the weekend focuses on the main driving sessions around the spectacular mountain circuit. The event also celebrates 75 years of motorsport history in Lenzerheide.

streetwheelz1 visited the event in previous years and published multiple videos from the Lenzerheide Motor Classics on YouTube, including race starts, paddock impressions, onboard sounds and rare historic racing cars in action. The event remains one of the most photogenic and atmospheric classic motorsport gatherings in Switzerland and is highly recommended for enthusiasts of historic cars and motorsport culture.
