Swiss Classic Awards 2025 at the Verkehrshaus Lucerne

On December 5, 2025, the Swiss classic vehicle community gathered at the Verkehrshaus der Schweiz in Lucerne for the annual Swiss Classic Awards ceremony. This year introduced significant changes to the award structure with three new categories: the Swiss Classic Restoration Award, the Swiss Classic Innovations Award, and the Swiss Classic Female Award, each featuring three nominated candidates or teams, as in all other categories.
Among the Bike Award nominees were the historic Bergrennen Küssnacht–Seebodenalp, restoration specialist Alex Lüchinger – Historische Motorräder, and the alpine moped tour Red Bull Alpenbrevet. The new Female Award recognized Michèle Ulmann of P791 AG, Classic Car Girls Club founder Julia Gut (@racelikeher), and long-time Oldtimer organizer Ursula Hediger. In the Innovations Award, nominations went to Manuela Mondelli for future-focused scene development, youth initiative young4vintage (SHVF) promoting hands-on engagement with classic vehicles, and clean-fuel pioneer Synhelion AG for its CO₂-neutral solar fuels.
The Historic Motorsport Award featured Rubin Motorsport with its legendary Lancia Delta rally cars, the revived International Motor Race Ollon–Villars, and the Bergrennen Hemberg association. Rising talents were highlighted in the Rookie Award, with nominations for community platform Shift Happens, content creator Crazy Cargirl – Jennifer, and the Motorentreff Zürich Oberland youth touring group. The newly added Restoration Award included Racervices GmbH led by Ueli Schüpbach, Jaguar restorer Georg B. Dönni, and Garage Bachmann AG for the remarkable rebuild of a fire-damaged Audi quattro rally car.
Regional Swiss Classic Passion Awards honored the International VW Meeting Château-d’Oex, Dakota Events AG, and the Rétro Circuit Porrentruy–Courtedoux for Suisse Romande; Selleria Antonio Santarelli, Haflipinz TI, and the Auto/Moto Club Generoso for Svizzera Italiana; as well as the Saurer Museum Arbon, the historical project 100 Years of Automobiles in Graubünden, and renowned restorer Christian Hartmann for the German-speaking region.
