At the Essen Motor Show 2025, a familiar icon takes on an unexpected role: the Ford Mustang appears as a fully equipped police car, reimagined through the lens of modern tuning culture.

This feature follows the debut of the Steeda Q500 Police Mustang, presented as part of the “Tune it! Safe!” campaign. Based on the current Mustang GT Fastback, the project pairs its 5.0-liter V8 foundation with upgrades by Fiege Performance that focus on both performance and compliance. The car runs a lowered suspension, enhanced braking system, additional cooling, and 21-inch wheels wrapped in Hankook tires, while Hänsch emergency lighting and Foliatec police graphics complete the concept. The result is a show car that bridges the gap between enthusiast modification and strict road legality, offering a clear statement on how tuning can evolve without stepping outside regulatory boundaries.
