Motorshow “Oldtimermesse St. Gallen” 2025 (Switzerland)
The Motorshow "Oldtimermesse St. Gallen" will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 09:00 to 17:00 at the St. Gallen exhibition grounds. Traditionally held one week after the OLMA fair, this event transforms the halls into a meeting place for classic car enthusiasts. Numerous exhibitors will present their products and services covering all aspects of the oldtimer and youngtimer hobby. The organizers, who also run the Automuseum Lömmenschwil, bring together specialists in areas such as upholstery, engine restoration, and paintwork, giving visitors the chance to seek expert advice and solutions for their own projects. Alongside parts and accessories, complete vehicles will also be offered by dealers and private sellers. Auto Zurich 2025 (Switzerland)
The Auto Zürich 2025 will transform Messe Zürich from October 30 to November 2 into the epicenter of Switzerland’s automotive world, with exhibitions that go far beyond new cars. It’s one of the few events where you can experience over 70 brands unveiling more than 80 novelties, alongside dedicated halls for classic cars, small-series manufacturers, electric mobility showcases (the EV Experience), and even the Zurich Auction by Broad Arrow. Doors open daily at 10 a.m., and on Thursday and Friday the fair remains open until 9 p.m., while Saturday and Sunday hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Attendance is open to both trade and the general public, making Auto Zürich a rare place where auto innovation, heritage and public fascination meet under one roof.

Special Exhibition Zurich Automobiles at the Gauss Stierli Area (Switzerland)
Starting November 1, 2025, the Gauss-Stierli Area in Zurich-Seebach opens its doors for the temporary special exhibition Zurich Automobiles. It showcases 39 automotive brands that were once built in the Canton of Zurich — from historic pioneers like Egg & Egli, Arbenz, Tribelhorn, and Asper to later innovators such as Sauber, Rinspeed, Kyburz, and Micro. The exhibition highlights the city’s impressive industrial and cultural car-building legacy, right on the historic site where some of these vehicles were originally produced. Organized in collaboration with the Swiss Car Register, SWISS CLASSIC WORLD, and the Swiss Historic Vehicle Federation (SHVF), it offers visitors an inspiring look at Zurich’s role in Swiss automotive history. Planai Classics (Austria)
Planai-Classic is one of Europe’s most exciting winter classic car rallies, held in the snowy alpine region of Styria, Austria. Over three days, around 50 historic cars built up to the early 1970s take on snowy mountain passes, icy valley roads and the legendary Planai hill climb without four-wheel drive or modern electronic aids, offering a rare glimpse into how driving used to be. Black Forest Winter Challenge 2026 (Germany)
The Black Forest Winter Challenge will take place from January 22 to 25, 2026, marking the seventh edition of this demanding and entertaining winter rally. Around 60 teams with classic cars will tackle more than 500 kilometers across the Black Forest, climbing up to 1,200 meters in altitude and mastering a series of varied stages.
What makes this rally special is its mix of disciplines: in addition to target and set-time trials, participants must also prove themselves in regularity and skill tests, ensuring constant variety and excitement behind the wheel. 28th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique – Bad Horburg (Germany)
Bad Homburg serves as one of the official start locations for the 28th Rallye Monte-Carlo Historique, taking place from 1 to 7 February 2026. More than 300 eligible historic rally cars (built up to 1986) will depart from six European cities: Bad Homburg, Barcelona, Monte-Carlo, Reims, Turin, and John O’Groats. The cars arrive in Bad Homburg on 31 January for documentation checks and technical inspections at the Central-Garage, offering spectators an early look at the participating vehicles. The ceremonial start takes place on 1 February at 14:00 on the Kurhausplatz podium. From there, all crews head towards Valence for several regularity stages before continuing to Monaco, where the first cars are expected on 7 February.
