By this mid-summer point, many classic owners have attended multiple times, yet each gathering still brings surprises – perhaps a rare model passing through on a summer road trip joins in, or someone unveils a freshly restored car that just got on the road. The tagline remains that your oldtimer “wants to be seen” at the Ace, and indeed the crowd obliges. With the Swiss National Day around the corner, a patriotic mood might infuse this meet – maybe a few cars sport Swiss flags or bunting in anticipation. It’s another delightful morning/afternoon spent in the company of chrome, tailfins, and timeless elegance – by now a beloved routine that never gets old (pun intended).
