Tractor & Single-Axle Meet (Switzerland)
July 26 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Traktoren- & Einachser-Treffen (July 26, 2025) – A tractor and single-axle vehicle meet that brings agricultural machinery into the spotlight. Presented by Traktorenwerkstatt Büchler GmbH, this is not your typical shiny car show – it’s far more rustic. Old farm tractors, some beautifully restored and some left in work-worn patina, roll in along with “Einachser” – two-wheeled walk-behind tractors or tillers, often towing small trailers. The machines might be Lanz Bulldogs belching smoke or classic John Deeres, Steyrs, and other European farm legends. It’s a treat for fans of mechanical history and rural heritage. These vehicles tell the story of agriculture’s evolution. Visitors might see demonstrations of an old single-cylinder tractor engine (“Glühkopf” hot-bulb engines, for example). The pace is slower (tractors aren’t fast!), but the enthusiasm is real – particularly among older generations who grew up with these machines. This meet adds a charmingly different flavor to the Ace’s lineup, proving that if it has wheels (or treads) and an engine, there’s a place for it at the Ace Cafe.
